As one of the first women photographers at National Geographic, Annie Griffiths has worked in nearly 150 countries during her illustrious career. On September 21, Annie shared the powerful stories of women and children who have been helped by her nonprofit, Ripple Effect Images. The presentation will took place at the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, with a reception at MAINSITE Contemporary Art.
This event was made possible, in part, by a grant from the Norman Arts Council Hotel Tax Grant Program.
Service Project
For our service project, we are inviting donations to Ripple Effect Images. Ripple Effect Images is a collective of world-class photographers who document aid programs that empower women and children globally. Ripple then donates the films and photos to help the aid groups raise funds. Every $1 donated to Ripple Effect Images has raised $10 for its aid partners. To donate, please visit Ripple Effect Images donation page.
